
If you like Twix bars, then you'll love these! I switched the chocolate and vanilla flavors to make them reverse bars.
Shortbread Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
Caramel Ingredients:
- 6 soaked and pitted dates
- 3 tablespoons almond butter
Vegan white chocolate to melt for the top layer
Instructions:
Make the shortbread base and press into a loaf or 8x8 pan.
In a food processor, combine the caramel ingredients and pour on top of the shortbread.
Place the pan in the freezer for 2 hours.
Melt the white chocolate and pour on top of the two layers.
Freeze for 30 minutes and slice! Keep in the fridge.
